I've been into LSW recently and I shot a test roll of colour film. The contact print is above and just click on it to be taken to an interactive version, or a copy of the contact print can be found here.

My initial response is that the colour does not work as well as B&W. The colour seems to be a distracration, an element of visual noise, and it does not add anything to the images. It could be argues that the light was not complimentary to the colours, with it being a grey overcast day, but when compared to the B&W images the colour do not have as much impact.

To prove this point I have uploaded two images that are of the same thing and both are enhanced.

As can be seen when comparing the two images, I do feel that the B&W has more of a visual impact than the colour with the amount of green being distracting. Plus I do also feel that I work with B&W better than colour and in all honesty is my preferred medium. As with the contact print, just click on the imae=ges for a bigger version.
