Littlestone Wood

​

Upon entering this small wood, it has the sensation of entering a different world.  Littlestone wood is an ancient woodland owned by the army and so consequently it has just been left with no human intervention for the last 40 years.  This has made the place wild and strange, on one hand full of natural wonder but on another it feels alien and inhospitable.

However, there is a sense of calmness because it is removed from the everyday world.  There is no sense of hurry or stress, just a natural calm that is relaxing but oddly disturbing because of its alien nature.
